Australian Made New Liberty Fleece Collection
It was 2 years in the making, a long and drawn out collection, developed over the lock up period in Melbourne so we had done delays. Liberty London Fabrics Fleece was sourced locally at the fabric store & that softness inspired me to create some basic comfortable shapes. 5 shapes a dress, pant, skirt , hoodie & top. It took 2 skilled pattern makers & a lot of patience to get the shapes right. Patience was key with this collection as we had delays all the way through including our local embroidery house as they struggled with staff shortages. But we got there! And now present to you the fleece range. Pictured on Smith St in front of Piccolina Gelateria is our Gigi dress, styled & captured by Lissiesue Photoraphy. Available to purchase online with us or at Big Dreams Emporium at 267 High St Northcote in Victoria.
Collaboration with MilkxSoda
We worked with accessories label MilkxSoda to create bags that would match back with our collection. The style is available in 2 sizes Marie is the larger bag & Amy the smaller. We chose 4 liberty prints, 2 linens & also made some very limited patch work styles.
Pretty Wild is breaking in to the European market.
After a successful show in Paris earlier this month we decided to accept an invitation by German Magazine 'Childhood Business' to exhibit at Kids Now in Frankfurt.
The magazine has collaborated with show organisers to bring a myriad of international brands to the German market. We are certainly flattered and hope to pick up a couple of accounts in this key market. Wish us luck, it was certainly a long trip...
Pretty Wild Cushions
Pretty Wild round cushions came about because we wanted to have a play in the studio when our fabrics were delivered. We needed a diversion from the dresses, and the prints are so lovely to live with, the idea just came together. Being close by to the Warwick fabric showroom we walked over and found some velours to pair back with our Liberty London prints. A local embroiderer helped us get our branding on the fabric circles & a visit to an old childhood friend saw the samples put together. (Patsa we love your work) Very proud to say these cushions are Australian made, with locally sourced trims too, even the inserts are made in Dandenong. Fun creating time along side our main collection of clothing.
